Jones Radio Network's Lia Wins Third Major Award in Six Months With ACM Win

Jones Radio Networks^®, Inc. (JRN), is thrilled to congratulate Lia on being named ‘National Broadcast Personality of the Year’ by the Academy of Country Music (ACM). This honor marks Lia’s third major award win in the last six months.

"It’s been a very exciting time for Lia," says Susan Stephens, VP/GM, JRN-Seattle. "Last fall she was named ‘Broadcast Personality of the Year’ by the CMA for the second time; this spring she won her fourth AWRT Gracie Allen^® Award; and now she’s been given her first ACM Award! Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts surprised Lia with the news in a last-minute interview yesterday. "I got a little teary eyed when Joe Don told me," Lia said. "I’m so thrilled to be the recipient of this award that has honored so many amazing and talented country radio personalities."

Lia is Country Radio’s Local Authority with 2 million listeners on nearly 160 stations.
